Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) has acquired a pair of South Korean-built coated LR1 tankers from Eyal Ofer’s Zodiac Maritime, according to brokers.
PNSC take over the ship at KHOR FAKKAN anchorage as per ship AIS (Automatic Identification System) on 25 March 2019.
Allied Shipbroking reports that PNSC has forked out $60.7m for 2012-built Kings Road and 2013-built Abbey Road, both constructed at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding. MSI values the pair at $56.4m, valuing Kings Road at $26.8m and Abbey Road at $29.6m.
PNSC currently has a fleet of nine vessels, made up of five bulk carriers and four Japanese Aframax tankers.
